Graffiti
Today Cllrs Andrew Cumpsty, Tom Stanway and I launched an anti-graffiti campaign in Caversham. We are asking for local residents who have any information on Graffiti in Caversham to report it, so we can get this pointless drain on resources stopped. We will also be meeting with Council officers in the next couple of weeks to discuss the situation.
Every year £120,800 of council tax payers money goes into cleaning up Graffiti, and the council has had to invest an extra £185,000 in the Big Graffiti Clean Up campaign.
You can view an article about it in the Reading Evening Post by clicking here.
